SEO
Search growth built on evidence, not opinion.
Most SEO retainers fail in a predictable way: the technical audit is delivered, nothing is implemented, and twelve months of content gets published against keywords nobody validated. We work in the opposite order — fix what is blocking indexation, prove demand exists, then build.
We also do not pretend that ranking is the whole job. AI Overviews and answer engines now sit above the organic results in a growing share of queries, which changes what a page has to do to be worth writing.
What it covers
The work itself. Not a list of adjectives — the things that actually get done.
Technical audit and remediation
Crawl, index coverage, rendering, status codes, canonical conflicts, redirect chains, pagination, hreflang and Core Web Vitals. Delivered as a prioritised fix list with the code, not a PDF of problems.
Log file and crawl-budget analysis
What Googlebot actually requests, how often, and what it is wasting time on. On large sites this routinely finds whole sections being crawled that should not be, and money pages that are barely visited.
Keyword and intent modelling
Volume, difficulty and — more importantly — what page type currently ranks. If the SERP is full of comparison pages, a service page will not win it no matter how well written.
Information architecture
Hub-and-spoke structure, one page per intent, and an internal link model with fixed anchors. This is where most sites leak: twelve pages quietly competing for the same query.
Content production and optimisation
Briefs with real competitive analysis, then writing or editing. Existing pages that are close to ranking usually beat new pages on effort-to-result, so we look there first.
E-E-A-T and entity work
Author entities, structured data, disambiguation, and the off-site corroboration that makes a brand resolvable to Google as a thing rather than a string.
Structured data
JSON-LD built to the current specification, validated, and kept to types that are actually eligible. We will not add AggregateRating to your own site — that is a manual-action risk, not a growth tactic.
Answer-engine readiness
Clear attribution, extractable passages, direct answers near the top of the page, and a clean entity graph — the things that decide whether an AI answer cites you or your competitor.
Reporting that includes the losses
Search Console and analytics tied to the changes that caused them, with the tests that failed shown alongside the ones that worked.
How we do it
Method, in the order it happens.
You can judge an agency on its process before you have any results to judge it on. That is the point of publishing this.
-
Find what is blocking indexation
No content work starts until pages can be crawled, rendered and indexed. Publishing into a broken technical foundation is the most common way SEO budget disappears without trace.
-
Validate demand before writing
We check that the query exists, that it is commercially useful, and that the SERP is winnable by a page type we can credibly produce. A keyword with volume and an unwinnable SERP is not an opportunity.
-
Fix the architecture
Resolve cannibalisation, set one page per intent, and build the internal link model. This is unglamorous and it is usually where the first real movement comes from.
-
Improve before you add
Pages ranking in positions four to fifteen respond faster than anything new. We work that inventory first, then commission new content against validated gaps.
-
Build authority deliberately
Digital PR and earned links against the pages that actually need them, not a flat monthly link quota pointed at the homepage.
-
Measure against a dated baseline
Every change is logged with a date so movement can be attributed. Without that you are reading weather, not results.
-
Cut what is not working
Content that has had a fair run and produced nothing gets consolidated, redirected or removed. Sites get faster and rank better when you delete, and almost nobody does it.
What you keep
Deliverables that remain yours whether or not we continue.
- A prioritised technical fix list with implementation detail, not just findings
- The full crawl export and log-file analysis
- A keyword and intent model with the SERP evidence behind each target
- A site architecture map, including the cannibalisation you currently have
- Every content brief and every page we write or rewrite
- Validated structured data you can keep using
- A dated change log tying each change to the traffic that followed it
When this is the wrong service
We would rather say this now than three months in.
- You need results this quarter. SEO does not work on that timescale and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something else.
- The site cannot be changed. If engineering cannot ship a fix in under a quarter, technical SEO cannot help you.
- You want volume of content rather than content that ranks. We are the wrong supplier for a word-count contract.
- You want links bought at a fixed monthly quota. We do not do that, and it is a liability rather than an asset.
- The product has no search demand at all. Some genuinely do not, and paid or outbound will serve you better.
Before you commit to anything
We publish how we work, what we will not claim, and how an engagement runs, so you can judge us on method rather than on adjectives.
